Baha Mar is a 1,000-acre resort complex on the island of New Providence in The Bahamas. Owned by Hong Kong-based Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, the establishment opened in April 2017. The amenities include three hotels (a Grand Hyatt, SLS Baha Mar, and the Rosewood) with a total of 2,200 rooms, 284 private residences, a 100,000-square-foot (9,300 m2) casino, a 30,000-square-foot (2,800 m2) spa, and a Tournament Players Club golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Mojopagoda posted a review about Baha Mar on Trip Advisor in March 2020:

"Rude staff everywhere and nonstop music and traffic noise outside your room so you can never sleep... Waste of money generally unless you are going just for gambling. Too many people and overpriced everything for the quality of what you receive. Eat better and get better experience outside the hotel."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Baha Mar full-time for more than 3 years Cons: There is no support from the both HR department ( shared service or brand) benefits for local managers are the same as line associate. No balance between work and personal life. Salary is not competitive, little to no advance for locals. Poor leadership and racism from upper management."

Former Employee - Sales Manager says

"I worked at Baha Mar full-time for more than a year Cons: This company is still struggling to get off the ground. Fired 1200 people in an email and reopened a year later still unable to run the casino."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Baha Mar full-time Cons: I am one of 200+ expat employees at Baha Mar who are still waiting to be paid owed salary and severance from the Bankruptcy. All Bahamian employees have been made whole - they were paid months ago. This action appears to be sanctioned by the Government of the Bahamas. Just realize that you do not have the same protections as you would in the US. Nassau is a high crime area; I lived in a gated community. Was warned not to go to the mall in the evening. The dump catches on fire and wafts toxic fumes over the island. If you go snorkeling to see the sculpture garden at Clifton Heritage park you may get slimed by oil. All is not well in paradise. Practice progressive discipline - everything is an SOP."

Former Employee - Food and Beverage says

"I worked at Baha Mar full-time for more than a year Cons: favouritism, i think that persons were given roles based on likes"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Baha Mar full-time Cons: Conflict between expats and locals Poor management/leadership Challenges due to bankruptcy"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Baha Mar full-time for more than a year Cons: Some shared service departments made life difficult (HR, Finance, Engineering etc.) By making seemingly easy tasks much more difficult. There was always a disconnect."

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I have been working at Baha Mar full-time for more than a year Cons: There's a lack of leadership and trust in the organization. Also, very little regard for the individual team member's well-being. Senior leadership often 'talks down' to the rest of the staff."
